Job Opening: Development Director

JOB DESCRIPTION - Development Director
Summary: Under administrative direction, identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards major gift donors, develops fundraising strategies, serves as development liaison, supports budget, goals and strategic planning.
Qualifications: college preferred, experience in area of marketing/sales; knowledge of development/fundraising concepts and appropriate solicitation techniques, ability to work well with people, knowledge of disabling conditions helpful; project management skills, public presentation skills, ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality; excellent oral and written communication skills; customer service experience required. Must possess Driver license and clean driving record. Must be able to work flexible hours.
Duties Include: 1. Identifies, cultivates, and solicits philanthropic support by developing and maintaining relationships with corporations, foundations and individuals including clients and their families, board members and other key personnel; fosters positive and enduring relationships that produce reciprocal benefits.
2. Develops fundraising strategies and methods or activities to ensure proper acknowledgement, recognition and stewardship of donors; participates in developing campaign materials, case statements, and brochures; evaluates effectiveness of development programs and securing gifts at various levels.
3. Builds working relationships and serves as development liaison to agency personnel, business owners, corporations and other entities.
4. Participates in professional development organizations, committees, boards, and meetings; travels locally, and out of town as necessary, prepares call reports in a timely manner.
5. May supervise support staff; participates in special projects.
6. Participate in community activities to promote Rehab Services, Inc.
7. Prepare documentation/reporting as required by management.
8. Assist in developing Annual Report.
9. Follow RSI Policies & Procedures.
10. Complete other duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION - Sales/Marketing Coordinator
The Sales/Marketing Coordinator's primary function is promoting Space Creators, increasing sales and business. This is a grant funded position with continuation depending on results.
Qualifications: college preferred, experience in area of marketing/sales; ability to work well with people, knowledge of disabling conditions helpful; excellent oral and written communication skills; customer service experience required. Must possess Driver license and clean driving record. Must be able to work flexible hours.
Duties Include: 1. Promote and participate in Space Creators sales/marketing (scanning & shredding business). 2. Assist agency in completing requirements for government contracting. (NISH, State of North Dakota set asides, etc.) 3. Develop and distribute agency marketing materials. (Brochures, publications, presentations, etc.) 4. Assist in completing media projects. (Advertising, etc.) 5. Assist in agency resource development (grant writing, fund raising, ReStore Work Day, etc.) 6. Become knowledgeable in all agency programs and services. 7. Research other states and agencies best practices and programs. 8. Work on developing business relationships and partnerships to promote agency, persons with disabilities, and increased employment opportunities. 9. Participate in community activities to promote Rehab Services, Inc. 10. Prepare documentation/reporting as required by management. 11. Assist in developing Annual Report. 12. Follow RSI Policies & Procedures. 13. Complete other duties as assigned.
