RSI receives 3 year Accreditation

CARF International announced that Rehab Services, Inc. has been accredited for a period of three years for its Employment programs. The latest accreditation is the fifth consecutive Three-Year accreditation for RSI.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process
and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.

Rehab Services, Inc. would like to introduce, Pamela Jochim, Certified Benefits Planner to their staff.

Pamela comes to Rehab Services after graduating from the University of Mary with a Bachelor of Science in Social and Behavioral Science. Pamela recently completed her training from the WIPA National Training Center through Virginia Commonwealth University.

Pam’s office is located in the West Central Human Services building and assists persons receiving SSI/SSDI in benefits planning. Rehab Services is a non-profit agency serving persons with disabilities with offices in Minot, Fargo and Bismarck.

eBay Giving Works

Rehab Services, Inc. has recently opened an account with eBay Giving Works, which helps nonprofits raise funds by selling items on eBay.

Nonprofits can also receive donations from eBay users through the “Donate Now” feature, which lets anyone with a PayPal account donate to nonprofits right away –without buying or selling anything.

Any donated items to ReStore which are deemed valuable can now be sold on eBay for a greater profit for RSI.

2nd Annual Golf Marathon

Rehab Services, Inc. will hold it's 2nd Annual 100 Hole Golf Marathon, August 7th, 2009.

Last year we had 32 golfers participate in this fun filled event, this year we plan to have 40 golfers!

Numerous prizes were given away, including $1250 to our top fundraisers. This year promises to be even more exciting with more prizes and fun.

Recoveree Connection

100 Hole Marathon

RSI's inauguaral 100 Hole Marathon was a Great Success! 32 Golfers participated in the day long event held at Wildwood Golf Course in Burlington. Numerous prizes were awarded and the event was a success in raising funds for RSI's programs serving people with disabilities. A big Thank You to all golfers, staff, volunteers and donors for making our golf tournament great success!

100 Hole Team Marathon

RSI is seeking golfers to participate in its inaugural Golf Marathon to be held August 8, 2008. This unique event will be carried out by a 4 member team advancing one ball through 100 holes -- all in one day!

Each golfer will commit, at a minimum, to securing a $10 pledge per hole. Great prizes will be available to those who raise the most support. The top fundraiser will be awarded $1000, 2nd place - $750 and 3rd place $500. Other prizes will be awarded for individual hole contests during the marathon.
